PROJECT: Shop Local Give Local Community Awareness Campaign
CONCEPT: Partner with local businesses around the UMCU-served communities to give back to a local charity. Every time a UMCU Member uses their UMCU Visa Credit Card, UMCU donates up to 1% of each purchase to a local charity.
GOAL: Encourage UMCU Members to use their UMCU and EMUCU Visa Credit Cards around local Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Dearborn, and Flint small businesses. Create engaging materials to spread awareness of campaign. Over the course of five years we’ve grown this campaign from partnering with 13 small businesses to over 100+ small businesses.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Schedule asset buyouts, design visuals for campaign deliverables, and communicate with small business owners to ensure success of this campaign. Designed multiple assets, created media kits for small business owners to use and increase engagement with their customers on social, designed gifs for social media instagram stories.
